Communications: Please…… No calls or texts before or after 8am/8pm unless emergency. Of course, if we are scheduled to be at your house earlier or later you can text us, and you will as usual receive a picture text update. For general questions that don’t need an immediate answer, feel free to message me as well through the portal.
Last min bookings or cancellations: We will do our best to accommodate everyone. Pet parents who keep us on a solid schedule get the best time frames available. All others, are on a first come first served basis for what I am able to schedule in and accommodate. I usually wave a last minute cancellation fee, once or twice only. Please see cancellation policy. Any last minute changes, or cancellations must go through me. I will update the schedule accordingly and let your sitter know.
Walkers/Sitters: If we are on a set schedule with your pets, you will get the same two sitters with the exception of sickness, or vacations. We have a wonderful staff of sitters ready to jump in and help as needed.
Flexibility: I ask for a 2 hour window around your preferred time frame. This allows for last minute bookings, cancellations, weather, traffic, and possible emergencies.
Scheduling/Payments: This goes through, Christina Ranaldi “The Scruffy Puppy” at the conclusion of each week of regular service. For example, if you need service Monday, Wednesday, Friday, it would be due Friday. If you need service once in a while, payment that day, via cash, check, or credit card. If in a pinch, last minute request, you can mail out a check, or drop it in my lock-box assuming I get it within the next few days. Vacation care in my home or yours, I usually take payment up front.
Strong Dogs/Pullers: We do our best to accommodate our clients wishes for pet care. If your dog pulls you down the street, its probably going to happen with our walkers. We will of course suggest different leashes, or harnesses that could help, training etc. For the safety of your dogs, and my walkers, we will suggest backyard playtime instead.
Client Keys: We ask all of our clients to hold their own keys. Lock boxes/ door or garage code with a “hide a key” location on file in case of power failure.
